Jandakot Colts getting ready for battle

It has taken Colts coach Rocco Ferrero into his third year before he has achieved a win over the classy Belomnt Bombers outfit, but this was the furtherest thing from the minds of coaches, players, supporters and support staff as they finally overcame the hurdle on the weekend.

It has been just over six months since Belmont withheld a Jandakot onslaught to win the 2014 Preliminary final by a point and book a place in the Grand Final. On that occasion it was heartbreak for Ferrero and the boys; this time joy.

As with all encounters between these two talented sides; there was nothing in the game all day and it was a low scoring arm wrestle. Jandakot eventually running out two point winners with Kaine Pirangi contributing three majors.

Going into the GTM enforced BYE, Jandakot have now made a perfect 2 and 0 start to the season and sit in second place by percentage to Ballajura.

Final Scores:
  • Jandakot 7.7.49 Defeated Belmont 7.5.47
